Imagine living in the present.
Not romanticizing the past.
Not rushing into the future.
But sitting in the beauty of what you have right here & right now.
Life is now and you will miss it attempting to time travel through it.

Parents want to come up to the school board to argue about trans kids in the bathrooms but have nothing to say about the fact that their child has had a long term sub instead of an actual teacher all year because the district doesn’t pay enough.

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

The funding (and de-funding) of things is gonna be so sporadic under Trump.
Today's "kill that funding" is going to be tomorrow's "why doesn't this work? Put that funding back."
Because Trump doesn't know how anything works.

I really hate that my primary source of childcare is a family member. Especially since they are the only family I have nearby. I have no backup if they are unable to watch my kids.
