It’s now clear that the only way the Republicans can win is by cheating and that they intend to cheat. Without free and fair elections the USA is nothing, don’t be surprised if the horseshoe shaped Democratic States of America is a country by the end of the decade.

A Governor isn’t going to impeach Hegseth, block more terrible appointments or put pressure on the Epstein files release. Who are the people voting for a Democrat Governor but a Republican Senator?

If you look at the actual net result in terms of momentum of public opinion of the actions of Ed Sheeran compared to those of the Green Party… Their selfish posturing has undone all his good work.

I think Labour would have won anyway but the fact it wasn’t at all close is down to the difference in the respective Conferences.

No! The best thing about the Tory Government was their incompetence. The Maths is simple, if someone is trying to do harm, competence is bad. An incompetent person trying to do good is better than someone trying to do harm. Don’t celebrate wrongdoers being good at it.

Louie French called for the government to "keep politics out of football and ensure the Premier League's independent commission can do its job free of outside influence".
"The club face unprecedented allegations and fans are horrified by what they are reading in the papers," the Tory MP said. LOL

Reminder that the 2024 result was almost exactly what the country wanted ten years earlier. We knew the Tories had to go but let them in for another ten years of damage. And now wonder why it’s taking so long to fix!

What is all this talk about the triple lock for? In recent history and for the foreseeable future, the first lock has been triggered so the other two are currently irrelevant anyway.

It’s difficult to imagine how Trump can make things even worse for American farmers over the next month but I expect him to try.

Do fake polls really carry such power of suggestion factor? Apparently so, everybody is at it. There are polls saying Republicans could win Minnesota and Democrats could win Arkansas-at the same time. One of them has to be nonsense and probably both. So it must be thought to have a serious affect.

Let Piddington leave, build a wall round it and make sure they pay every time they want to go through immigration into England. Their employers must get the right visas to continue their employment. Bicester and Woodstock is a large constituency so they could just be removed with no adjustment.

Cleverley and Patel leaving the shadow cabinet isn’t all good news. Not overly concerned by Cleverly’s plan to become London mayor and it shows he never really thought much of Essex but this group that Pritti Patel is working for is probably very scary behind the scenes.

While professional cricket is on its summer break, they should do a sunday league. Maybe for minor counties on channel 4. 40 overs each, red ball, regional groups throughout July and August with a finals weekend in October in Almeria, Spain.
