They did higher numbers than this on axs a bunch of times in 2020 & 2021. When Kenny Omega showed up on Impact right after winning the AEW title they did over 200k.

The new movie started development as a miniseries and you can really tell they’re trying to cram 4 or 5 episodes of a show into 90 minutes.

I don’t think the angle is that bad, they just need to get to where it’s guys like Kenny, Swerve, or Ospreay chasing Mox. Nobody believes Orange Cassidy or Cope is winning the title.
