I didn't get much time to work on the game yesterday and probably won't get much progress in this week because I am studying for AWS certs test this Saturday. I'll probably show a progress update after Saturday.

Happy Monday! I just wanted to showcase some progress I made since last video. I made a 2nd prototype level just to learn godot and figured out how to move between levels. I also figured out how to have a coin counter stuck to the camera screen so now I can start thinking about adding UI.

Today we went out to participate in the protest in the rain so didn't get too much done game dev wise. I did get GitHub setup and cleared up my partners Mac so we have some storage space to work on things.

What I have so far after following the tutorial for the past 2 days haha. Not too much to show for it but at least we have something that moves on the screen :P

Half way through the Brackey's Godot tutorial. Learning a lot with this one video. Last night we had a long discussion about ideas for the game and came up with some really good ideas. We are thinking it might be a cat adoption cafe management game with some funny mechanics. Here is a teaser.
