There were so few female protags in games when I was growing up. Granted FFVI is still a male-heavy cast, but you start with Terra and that really meant a lot to me.

I will say KH3 hype did not exist for me, because I was drained of it after thirteen years of waiting for it.
I'm bordering on hype for KH4. I have immensely enjoyed the trailers. And obviously the art and fan conversations, see previous skeet. :)

God, I feel this so much. The in game models rarely match my characters. My Auri berserker/warrior in particular. She should not have twiggy arms or legs or a concave stomach ffs.
I think Kuu is the only one that's remotely accurate, because she's supposed to be willowy.

I'm not quite ready to try XIV again just yet, but the seed has been planted for sure.

I've only played an hour and this game is already 100% tri-Ace goodness. Plus early '00s voice acting and general silliness? Brilliant.
I await the inevitable Horrors which I know are coming and the Feels that go along with it.

I'm hoping the music is included since SE is a toggle. (Original and remastered.)
I'll probably use a mix of old and new features, but yeah. OST needs to be the OG to set the game's tone as Bamco intended.

I'm glad for the game, because it paved the way for so many amazing follow ups, but yeah. QoL is sorely missing from the OG.
