I've spent my career fighting for people's rights, in the courtroom and in Tallahassee. As governor, I won't trade them away when it's convenient. Every Floridian deserves a governor who defends their rights as fiercely as they would for their own family. #MakeFlorida #DotieJosephForGovernor

We are seven months away from the most consequential midterm election in US history. Meanwhile, we are fighting a war. These are the structural conditions for a coup attempt in which a president tries to nullify elections and take permanent power as a dictator.

After weeks of organizing, we have reached the majority necessary to force a vote to extend Haiti TPS.

Thank you to our coalition and everyone fighting for this critical lifeline for the 350,000 Haitian nationals.

Our Haitian neighbors are so deserving.

Here're some local & national resources for those in need while we endure the administration's political weaponization of SNAP (food stamp) benefits.

Florida Democrats asked the Governor to help. In the absence of a meaningful response, we know that we take care of each other as a community.

Labor Day is a holiday born from strikes and worker resistance. Black labor built this country since the first Africans were enslaved and forced to work without pay.

Do you know about the Colored National Labor Union, the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, or Nannie Helen Burroughs?

NOTABLY the Paxton opinion that Abbott cites doesn’t actually say lawmakers who break quorum are removable — in fact it says this is a fact-specific question only resolvable by a court.

The opinion also does not say it’s unconstitutional to break quorum.
