Building networks for mid market ISPs.

I spend too much time worried about surveillance capitalism coming to eat us all.

I’m an avid reader, occasional gamer, dad.

I’m not too happy with the world my parents’ generation built for my kids.
Powerful tired today boss.

Got a company-wide email from our HR manager that she was trying out the Hinge app that is offered as an employee benefit.

I thought “That’s weird. Cool I guess.”

It’s not that Hinge. It’s a stretching app.

It was really nice of Scott Bakula’s parents not to name him Harry instead.

Thinking back to the glory days when we mostly used the Internet to “scrobble” what we were listening to.

I watched Inland Empire last night, and it is truly a movie that defies explanation. Is that good or bad?

Honestly, I’m not sure.

Oops. I meant Oliver Twist(1948)…

Watching Oliver Twist(1942), and just got to the part where Oliver beats the shit out of a bully and the two adults who try to stop him. We need more of this energy in the 21st century.

It’s fucking good.

My 9yo daughter was shaking a bundle of drinking straws at my 8yo son in the car.

He shouts at her: “Stop it! You’re strawmatizing me!”

Not having a stroke will be pretty cool I guess.

11 hours of sleeping off a migraine, and I’m ready for about 12 more hours of sleep.

I haven’t been on socials much by design. Today Slay the Spire 2 released and that’s what I’ll be doing for the foreseeable future.

Someone give me a quick jab now and again so I don’t forget to eat and starve at my desk.

The fuckers tear gassed a preschool today. I was going to make a joke about Balaclava Barney Fife panicking about a bunch of little kids, but I don’t have a sense of humor about this bullshit at all.

They’re murdering helpers and assaulting kids under 5. I don’t laugh much any more.

My 11yo son is taunting my 9yo daughter. He keeps telling her he’s going to sleep in her spot.

She hasn’t noticed though because she’s making fart noises at him with her armpit and chanting “I’m Darth Serious!”

New glasses are here! I can finally see again! I didn’t realize how bad my near vision had gotten until it was corrected. Glasses haven’t been this revolutionary since I got my first pair in the 7th grade! 👓
