Just saw this news, and samesies. I have resisted seeing the truncated version. I blame Tim Lucas’ Video Watchdog for making me aware enough to care. Now that there’s a chance I get to see it as intended is a small respite from the madness of this world (even if it’s the madness of Ken Russell)

The trailer was kinda giving me People Under The Stairs meets John Wick vibes. Seems like the type of movie that would either be a great “popcorn” watch, or a total tonal disaster.

Yep. One reason Devo played Satisfaction that night was precisely because the Sones had played the week before. They wanted to show how different their music was from previous rock and roll.

This is one week before Devo debuted and changed the world for a youngster like me…who was up way too late for a 12 year old.
