Tried to do a max level dungeon for the first time on controller on my main and got my shit wrecked lol. I think I definitely prefer playing on controller now but damn is it still awkward to navigate all the buttons while also paying attention to everything else. Still a mega hotbar gamer.

A complete overhaul of the ARR story with updated writing to match the current writing and dialogue style of the expansions, updated voice acting, and complete overhaul of the Bahamut raids so that new players can experience the story without needing to unsync the raids

I personally just think the entire engine just needs to be rebuilt. I feel like the engine is holding the dev team back a lot in what they're able to do and a completely new engine would help them be able to do so much more. Unfortunately that also means completely rebuilding the game.

It's honestly been so freeing to restart FFXIV from 0. I can allow myself to just play the game at my own pace however I feel like. There's no pressure to be 'good' at the job I'm playing and no pressure to try and keep up with everything and honestly that's how it should be.

The biggest things I want is for jobs to start feeling unique again and new mechanics that actually give each role something different and interesting to do that compliments their role. Mechanics that aren't just rehashes of old mechanics. More interactive MSQ dungeons. Break up the formula a bit.
