I guess a better way to put it is that I hope it shows Tachyon being a bit mopey and dejected and not really being able to fully understand “why” until Cafe sees the state she’s in and it clicks.

Nah I agree that “heartfelt” in the open and honest sense isn’t really something she knows how to do, so she’s effectively doing it in the most “logical” way she can by giving Cafe something she knows she likes without being able to outright say it. Which, unfortunately, leads to suspicion.

The real question is whether Tachyon says something heartfelt when Cafe goes to talk to her. I REALLY hope that's the goal after getting deeper into the character and realizing that, yes, she's a bit of a mad scientist. But she's also doing it for the sake of any racing-inspired Uma if not more.
