Hahaha.
We need so much more of this Private Eye style ridicule when it comes to Farage.
No one should be taking him seriously any more.

Robert Jenrick has a meltdown on #C4News

He refuses to accept that there are parliamentary rules that Nigel Farage may have broken

And insists the only people who can judge Nigel Farage are the people of Clacton

This is what Farage, Reform and Brexit have done. This is where a very ugly obsession with immigration leads. To this.
To “appalling levels of racism and unfair treatment.” To ordinary people being made miserable, day in, day out, at work.
What a shameful place to be.

A superb analysis from @jonathanfreedland.bsky.social. This has to be the way for the EU, the UK and Canada to go.

"Israelis and Palestinians have this in common: they are peoples cursed by leaders who bring them only misery." A bleak, but superb, article.

I still occasionally dip back into the other place, but that may now stop. Keir Starmer's brother died over Christmas, and while most comments were respectful, several consisted of inhumane bile. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the man has just lost his brother FFS. Glad to be on Bluesky.

“The economic cost of Brexit, reliably estimated at around 5% of GDP and with a total loss to government coffers by 2035 of over £300bn, is unlikely to be offset by attempting to ‘make Brexit work’ – a slogan which rather confirms that it hasn’t”
Brexit – an unwelcome truth
Labour’s continued silence on Brexit might just reveal an unwelcome truth; another reason, perhaps, to use the Brexit telescope?

A compelling argument from @jonathanfreedland.bsky.social . "It's not ideology or idealism, but hard-headed, practical common sense to say our place is in Europe"
Brexit makes no sense in a world dominated by Trump. Britain’s place is back in the EU | Jonathan Freedland
From defence to trade, the incoming US president is upending the old order – and standing apart from our neighbours leaves us dangerously exposed, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland
