Also a big I love you to my friends who showed up in game with their gaelicats out in remembrance of the boy. I cried so much seeing that, but it really warmed my heart knowing how many loved him and associate him with those minions.

One of my earliest memories playing XIV (back when HW was very new) was discovering the gaelikitten minion existing. It was millions of gil at the time, but my partner spent it for me to have "Flying Thomas" in game. It was my first ever minion (1/3)

He has severely declined and we are at the point of flying him out to a specialist out of state for a 10% chance or we decorated the ER with his things and say goodbye.
We are gathering his things.

If he goes into a serious episode, we have to admit him into the ER which is another $3.7k for everything that needs to be done and the overnights.
We are watching him carefully.

It wasn't heart failure like they thought. He has a tumor that is malignant and it is so large it is pressing on an important nerve which caused the episode he had. It could only need seen with a specialized scan.
We have him home monitoring and waiting for a call from his primary in the morning.
