Days 13-14 of learning to draw!

Didn't have much time or energy to draw these past couple of days, but I decided to spend a small part of tonight drawing Milo.

Started with a head, then tried drawing more of his details. Not a bad start! Also, I'm 21 now.

Days 11-12 of learning to draw!

I didn’t have much time again because of college work, but I tried a few different anatomy styles.

Hands are still impossible, but I managed to get a bare-bones raccoon body (leftmost attempt) that I’m pretty happy with.

Days 9-10 of learning to draw!

Between college work this weekend, I focused on full-body anatomy, using references to practice getting the shapes and proportions right.

They're still very rough, but I'm getting better at putting the whole body together.

Day 8 of learning to draw!

Spent a lot of today working on legs and figuring out how to draw them at different angles and poses. Combined a few outlines to make it easier.

Also drew Milo, my anthro raccoon OC, for the first time. Not great, but not bad.

Day 7 of learning how to draw!

Spent some time trying to figure out a bit more about anatomy and how it changes with angles/positions.

Turns out everything is harder than it seems lol. Even something like ears - I can't quite get the idea of floppy ears.

Day 6 of learning how to draw!

College destroyed me today, so I didn't have literally any time or energy to draw much.

So instead of anything crazy, here's a low-effort pizza slice🍕 and a reminder to eat something, since I seem to forget that between everything else lol.

Day 5 of learning how to draw!

Back to full-body art to practice anatomy. I'm starting to notice more of what's wrong with my drawings; still a lot to learn.

Also tried drawing different tails from references to learn how they can differentiate species.

Started with digitigrade legs, but I really wanted to practice/get more consistent with furry heads.

I'm most proud of the one with the open mouth because I used references and applied what I learned to a head I drew myself!

Why are paws (hands) so hard? I gave up for today when my last attempt looked like a piece of bread...

It is what it is. There are like a million ways to draw hands, so I kinda got lost with all the references and tutorials.

Day 2 of learning how to draw!

Tried following a tutorial for drawing an anthro body today. Definitely wonky, but honestly not as bad as I expected lol.

Didn't draw quite as much today since I got distracted playing video games, and this one took a while.

Day 1 of learning how to draw!

Did some basic 3D shapes, drew the first random object I saw (a charger), and tried drawing a few furry heads.

It's pretty rough, but honestly I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did for my first day lol.
