My problem operating in the housing space is my appetite and ego are such that I don’t want to just be one thing. I don’t just want to be the lawyer.

I want to be the developer, architect, contractor, carpenter, and property manager. I want to do everything. I love building and buildings.
I find it extremely hard to believe I’ve been married for 7 years. @jordanglasgow.bsky.social makes the time fly. Wherever we may go, you make it a blast.

Let’s not forget in 2028 when he runs for reelection
The Missouri Supreme Court on Thursday found Secretary of State Denny Hoskins in contempt for directing local election officials to use an illegal congressional map, but ultimately ruled he remedied the contempt by reversing his directive. #moleg #mogov

Another devastating round of layoffs today at McClatchy newspapers across the country.

For-profit news is in a death spiral. Corporate bosses squeeze readers for money with one hand and fire brilliant journalists with the other. Your community's news ecosystem is suffering because of their greed.

Something you don't see every day: the Chief Justice of the state Supreme Court advising the Secretary of State not to leave town, or as he put it here, "not to venture far from Jefferson City"
Matter taken under advisement, the Secretary is advised not to leave town, court in recess

Thankfully he gave us plenty of notice.
It absolutely takes 52 Dem senators because if it’s 51, this guy hands the gavel back to Thune and the tie breaking vote to Vance.
time to adjust your math about how many seats Dems need to win to take the Senate -- here's John Fetterman video message to Trumpapalooza in which he pledges to work with President Trump

Does anyone know of a Missouri-based tailor specializing in brightly colored, let's say orange, blazers?

Asking for a Secretary of State.

Denny Hoskins is going to get dressed down and he absolutely deserves it.

Expect another challenge to the Missouri plan next legislative session.

I genuinely thought Lewis Black was dead.

I’m really glad he isn’t, and that he’s using his (newfound to me) aliveness to harp about my pet peeve: ____maxxing

prefixmaxxing is giving prefixgate a run for its money on my all-time nomenclature pet-peeves.
People are "maxxing" just about everything, and none of it makes sense to Lewis Black

The Long ownership, Vlatko, Mary Long saga is honestly a great case study in conflict of interest in sports business. Now the stakeholders must suffer

“We built you a stadium so you owe us forever” isn’t a great way to endear yourself to fans in Kansas City. Just look how quickly Sporting wore out their once raving fan base.

Proof the rich aren’t inherently smarter than us.

This club’s leadership is an experience in dealing with someone with bipolar disorder. The highs and lows are vast.
BREAKING: Vlatko Andonovski and the Kansas City Current have mutually parted ways.

Per club release: "Both parties determined that Andonovski’s requested transition from coaching into the Sporting Director role at the end of last season was not the right fit."
