If fans watching Game of Thrones for 8 seasons are upset at something jarring, then I'm not sure they were really paying much attention for those 8 seasons... Jarring is par for the course with that show.

Definitely agree on Dexter and the wheels fell off Heroes pretty early on, I think its first season is pretty much the only good one.

Lost's finale and legacy shouldn't lose points for viewers not getting all the answers they wanted. There were always going to be things left unsaid, so turning its focus back to the emotional connections of the numerous characters was the right choice and it hits perfectly.

(But that's just me.)

This is just me, but I couldn't disagree harder on Game of Thrones and Lost.

GOT's final season, while rushed, still lands where it was always heading. The whole Daenerys turn was always hinted at with every season. (Bran I'm fine with, but I get that point.)
