The LEIGHEAS project Irish Medical Manuscript of the Month for September 2026 is Dublin, TCD MS 1698, containing excerpts from the surgical treatise by Petrus de Argellata, a compilatory text on wounds and remedies for conditions of the head:

The Manuscript of the Week is RIA MS 23 P 10(iii). This 15th century medical manuscript contains a translation of the major part of Book 1 of the Rosa Anglica of John of Gaddesden, with occasional pieces from Bernard of Gordon and Gilbert the Englishman interspersed.
