A cynical adult who occasionally posts on this platform and also has an unhealthy obsession (along with the occasional Doctor Who mention).

I love how in all these years since its first release, the OG Twelfth Doctor still doesn't have a fucking waistcoat.

And why does Missy have blue make-up around her eyes?

Ruining everyone's day by reminding the world that The Island of Dr Moreau (1996) was released 30 years ago today.

As a follow-up to my updated Fifth Doctor era ranking from a day or two ago, here's my updated ranking of the Fourth Doctor era.

Also, the drop-off from the Hinchcliffe era to Season 15 is really startling.

Finished watching the Skywalker Saga and can confirm that it's certainly a mixed bag.

Also, The Force Awakens might honestly be the best non Original Trilogy entry of the saga, and I have no idea if I'm going to get torn apart for that take.

I've been recently shifting around my Doctor Who opinions, so for nobody's curiosity, here's my updated ranking of the Fifth Doctor era.

The lacklustre follow-up to A Fish Called Wanda,
A good little character study carried by two great performances,
Gene Hackman's worst film that isn't Superman IV: The Quest for Peace,
and a film that wouldn't get made today, but is still funny.

Musing of the day:

When the fuck are we going to get a UK Blu-Ray (or 4K) of Sleuth?

Literally, these are the only things I've seen this month so far.

On the plus side, besides The Running Man, it's been pretty consistent so far.
