FilVetRep chairman Major General, U.S. Army Retired Antonio M. Taguba was honored earlier this month at Positively Filipino's third annual "Building Communities: A Tribute to Our Manongs and Manangs."

Filipino World War II Veteran Rodolfo ‘Rudy’ Panaglima, one of only two surviving veterans in the Washington metropolitan area, died on June 12 at the Virginia Medical Center. He was 96.
