I bought an Omnichord! I’ve wanted one of these for the longest time - I was always looking up second hand ones on eBay as a teenager - and finally bought one of the new ones they started making recently!! It’s beautiful!

I was convinced to finally give climbing another go yesterday, after trying it & not liking it a few years ago. We tried a different place, in an old swimming pool, which was very cool & also empty! And I enjoyed it!

Sad to hear this. Tony was from Co Durham, and was once a guest on my old BBC Tees radio show - I'd played the theme from 'Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads' so many times that it seemed rude not to ask! He was a total gent with so many great stories. Lovely bloke.

Went to see roller derby today (brill), so obviously watched Whip It tonight, and it’s so funny how weirdly heterosexual it is, lots of male gaze and a romance tacked on to what’s otherwise and extremely gay film about cool women. The past truly is a foreign country

So few apps now actually include a genuine changelog when you go to update them - just a generic thing about fixing bugs etc. Big shout out to the few apps that actually do tell you what the update includes - weirdly Chrome is really consistent with this?

It’s interesting how far back you can go on Google Maps now, back to 2008 or 2009 in a lot of places near me - amazing to be able to get an (almost) complete street view of my local area when I was a teenager
