I used to be in meetings with administrators and managers and afterward colleagues would constantly wonder why they didn’t seem to understand they were making things worse.

I know I am biased. I’m a huge consumer of this genre. But I think this is the exact right lane for that character. He’s basically Jessica Fletcher.
I realise it'd never happen because they're both too big in the industry, but it would be very fun if Daniel Craig and Rian Johnson decided to pull a "Columbo" and start cranking out half a dozen mid-budget Benoit Blanc films every year. Imagine the stupid shit he'd be getting up to by year three.
