Fresh off the blocking mats! Following the Waiting for Rain pattern by softsweater @laughingcatfibers.bsky.social 's Manx Cat Falkland sock weight in Madonna and Child. It was such a fun pattern, and I have plans for future color combos to show off the lace "scars" as my dad called them. 😍

This week's WIP! It's my first time using this untwisted yarn (bought before the Ho announced its intentions to use AI) and I gotta say, it is tricky to use, but the ombre is phenomenal.

Scarf blocked and drying. This was my first time blocking superwash merino, and I'm thankful for the slippy yarn to help make up lost volume.
My needle snafu only lost me an inch in width, BUT lost about six inches in length. 🧶
Oh well. Guess I'll have to try again on a different day.
