It's important to note that in this instance, they are using AI to do what can't reasonably be done without AI. They can't pay voice actors to sit there 24/7 to live dictate lines for hundreds of instances of fortnight active at any given time. This isn't replacing a human job.

I completely disagree. Training models based on the voices of VAs who -consented- to have their likeness used in that way is the exception to 99% of AI which is trained entirely on stolen content. Step in the right direction.
