This piece more resembles surrealism, reminding me a bit of René Magritte. Minimalism would avoid showing a scene of recognizable objects in space with lighting and shadows, more geometry and color. I really like the stark shadows you painted though! Very evocative

I think the silhouette is more Vox-like because of the corners and the hat being tiny

Ah, I suppose caring about people rather than principles is difficult. Condolences, I didn't know the broader context.

To be clear, I personally don't find Alastor drawn in a straitjacket to be egregious or problematic, but also don't think it's too strange to want it to be tagged

If op had said that the people drawing and enjoying the images were abusive and ablist, your argument would be more targeted. They're just asking that people tag and providing a reason why it would be a nice thing to do. We also generally accept ppl tagging blood, injuries, and sexual assault

"I think most of you are bad people, and I hate the thing you like" is such a nice thing for you to put in the tag

I prefer Alastor as the bottom but the radioapple tag has all the gen art and most of the appleradio art too (and radioapple has a nicer rhythmic meter) so I just look in the radioapple tag

The scope of the topic is clearly 'people shouldn't harass others over creative choices within a fictional story', and it seems obtuse or combative to broaden it so much

A really high proportion of comments and reblogs are saying they are hate-voting against Alastor without even knowing the other character

Check your count often. Nothing worse than realizing you got off count 10 rows back. Last big project I did, I kept a document where I tallied every row to keep my head straight. Save your working stitch with a locking stitch marker b/c whenever I don't I have to count to see where I unraveled to.
