On this day 70 years ago-May 1, 1956-the polio vaccine was first made widely available to the public. The vaccine’s developer, Dr. Jonas Salk, did not patent the vaccine so that it would remain available to as many people as possible in the US and internationally.

This is an argument (flawed and loosely, but still) for harm reduction policies, which Smith's government opposes.
The probability Danielle Smith is hardcore MAGA is a lot closer to 1.0 than a lot of people assume. For all intents and purposes, I treat her as a top Canadian MAGA leader and influencer. Her destructive anti-science views alone go back to Big Tobacco. #cdnpoli
