my tav rowan!!!! have been spinning them around in my head a lot so had to draw them
#art #bg3 #dnd #oc
bust drawing of a half-elf named rowan (they/them). they have light skin, black hair, and purple-pink eyes. they have a scar and a tattoo on the left side of their face (our right), and a scar on their throat. they have golden top surgery tattoos that's in a celestial/sunny theme. the background of the photo is purple, and there's a small purple frame around rowan. 4 flowers are under the upper part of their torso, cutting off the drawing of them there. golden sun ray-like "spikes" protrude from behind their head.

important reminder: food banks usually prefer money to direct food donations because they can buy at discounted rates

check with your local food bank to be sure but now is the time to help out

I want to thank everyone who’s shared the article and/or signed the petition.

It was at 2500 when I published and my heart soared today when I saw it hit 3,000.

Public pressure works. We can make a difference in Rodney’s life.

Let’s keep fighting. Keep making noise. Keep demanding his release:

Bluesky is a wonderful place that has flourished in large part because of its artists and intolerance towards facists/Nazis. The Updated policy currently going into effect Oct 15 could fuck that up and we should be very vocal about it. Here are some specific things to mention in feedback (THREAD)

HOW TO LET BSKY KNOW THEIR POLICY CHANGES HARM ARTISTS: A GUIDE FOR MOBILE USERS! 🧵

Sending feedback is SUPER easy, and takes just a few clicks!

1. Open the left tab menu, and click that "feedback" button
2. Put your concern in the box. I'll copy paste a script to use! (CONT.)
Screenshot of the leftside menu tab of bluesky. Red lines are used to circle the "feedback" button. This will take you to the support page to submit a comment. Screenshot of the form to send to bluesky. A script is written in the "concern" section, which is also copy pasted in the replies. The category selected is "product feedback/suggestions", and type of device is "android", because that's what I have. Further instructions are in the replies to this post.

Restricting the expression of sexuality through fiction and art made by adults, for adults – including those you find personally disturbing or offputting – is conservative censorship, full stop. When that censorship disproportionately affects subgroups, that's also discrimination. For shame.

The bad news keep coming

These go into effect Oct 15th
D. Adult Content: We provide a safe space for consensual adult expression by requiring clear consent and stopping abuse. i. We allow consensual adult sexual content, including fictional depictions, when appropriately labeled and subject to appropriate age restrictions. ii. We do not allow sexual content involving non- consensual activity including synthetic, simulated, illustrated, or animated versions.

Whenever sites come up with new rules like this I thing about how if you were a creator who was making something every bit on the level with a hugely popular and acclaimed series, would you be allowed to share it? Like, if you were sitting on the next Game of Thrones, you couldn’t share that here.

You might see several artists mad about the bluesky policy update banning non-con, even artists who do not make that kind of material, and wonder why it's such a problem. If that's you, here is a quick breakdown:

No one can resist the allure of the One Ring... Sauron's finest and most terrible creation.

I submitted some Annatar cosplay photos for TRSB 2025! Read the matching fic by tyelperintal on ao3 when the collection goes live on Sep. 6.

A picture of an Annatar cosplay from the Silmarillion. A hand with gold claw rings and chains hanging from them reaches out through a bush. The One Ring sits in Annatar's palm. The background is blurred. A picture of an Annatar cosplay. Annatar holds out the clawed hand with the One Ring in his palm, eyes looking down at it. He has long lashes and gold eyeshadow. He has long blonde hair, a gold circlet with an eye pattern, and a gold halo crown that lights up. The focus of the shot is the One Ring and Annatar is blurred in the background.

The Meeting
Tyelperinquar in long, green robes, his dark hair in a single plait, reaching out hesitantly to Annatar, whose arm is outstretched. Annatar's hair is long, loose about his shoulders and red and black robes. Behind them is a fictionalized tapestry or Fëanor pointing at Morgoth. "Get thee gone from my gate thou jail-crow of Mandos." "
