Before Doucet, baseball terminology in Quebec was a lot of franglais - "le shortstop a struck out sur un curveball" etc. - but that didn't fly with Quebec broadcasting laws, so he basically had to invent a French word to use for every bit of the baseball lexicon.

@tps.ca Kids and I watched a supervisor in car 12S1 drive down Black Creek at about 5:10pm today while clearly on a personal video call/FaceTime on her phone.
Very obviously paying little to no attention to the road while she engaged with the person on the video call, making faces at a child, etc
