I love this scene! The amount of visual jokes on top of everything else. Josh manspreading and getting slapped and later CJ standing beside him and effortlessly just "being taller" with the liitle nod of confirmation.

I was listening to stuff about the Edinburgh Fringe where they were saying that it was basically "rules free". However, knowing what people are like you assume that there must be SOME rules like "don't kill anyone". So I looked it up & I find it a bit ironic that it tries to insist you use Facebook.

There's no such thing as a decisive vote though. Everyone who voted is by definition the "decisive vote" . It's not that only the swing votes matter and everyone else gets to hide in the crowd of "well they were never going to vote any way except by party line".

There's about three pages of incomprehensible business jargon in this announcement, this bit in (kinda)English 59 paragraphs in makes me wonder what they're up to now? Seems like it could be important.

It's clearly a distraction from the signing of the 1000 Cuts Bill & the total defunding of NPR / PBS.
It will all either:
-vanish because one small bit of it will turn out to be faked.
-be true & just go away like always.

I'm trying to look something up that's reasonably easily searched for...if the AI in the damn search engine wasn't "helping me" with actively wrong information.

It is absolutely outrageous for people in the US legally to be treated as criminals.
I realised yesterday, for the first time, that for these students who were rounded up & deported their "crime" could be as minor as:
1)being F1 visa students
2)having minor run-ins with traffic violations.

A sovereign leader is the equal of another. It doesn't matter how big or small the country. Personally I am glad that the leader of Ukraine stood up for the rights of his country & fellow citizens.
It was clear from the beginning this was all to set up Ukraine's leader and try to make him look weak
