Tangential to this, I did think it was funny in The Traitors when all the contestants were like "Oh, she was a former Met detective, she must have been on to something", when she basically picked someone and then retrofitted everything she saw to fit the case.
I mean, we already saw it earlier this year: a lot of people were absolutely furious that Hampshire Police didn’t instantly disbelieve Vickrum Digwa and claimed police taking a false accusation of racially motivated assault seriously for a few minutes was a sign that anti-racism had gone too far

The Recurring Speed Camera Discourse is a bit exasperating really because, look, we all know what's actually happening is people just want to be able to commit the pertinent crimes and don't like being punished for it, but people come up with obvious post-hoc pseudo-woke rationalisations for this.

the entire Chinese internet has embraced what's basically a work of outsider art; a terribly animated film about a cow's dream made by a mother-son team and distributed by a former interior decoration company. It's now made millions at the box office.
