I get request to organize specific events for my run club from members. Stuff like a picnic after our run, themed run, running some where else, etc.
99% of theses people never offer to help in any manner.
It's basically just benefiting from the community but not contributing to it.

For those curious what the breaking point was, I responded to someone who was celebrating Trump move to cut loans for certain degrees and suddenly my feed was filled with "college is worthless/ liberal art degrees are a waste of money"

I am always amazed by Dan's combination of luck and sheer determination to make his goals happen.
I’m thrilled to announce that I'm on the upcoming season of The Floor on FOX! I’ll be competing for $250,000, and it’ll air on Wednesday nights starting on 9/23 (next day on Hulu).

Trying to decide if I'm being a Karen, as I'm getting frustrated with how little my climbing gym updates their routes.
Checking Kaya and when stuff was set, there are so many from October and December 2025. That seems wild to me.

X Rays came back fine, no bone damage (laaaaaaaaaaadies).
Good on one hand but back to square one.
Guessing blood tests and a rheumatologist visit will be the next step.

He is a guy, and this is his first day on it.
I'm absolutely not surprised, he's a good dude and very attractive but man, those are probably more likes than I get i ever gotten in my time using it.

Don't get me wrong, just showing up is huge but if you're a regular at any community think of ways to help out or give back.

Had to drop 800 dollars getting my car electrical system reset and a new key yesterday (it's a whole story).
Last week I paid 400 bc it got towed.
I try to stay grateful that these expenses don't keep me from paying rent or anything like that but this is how I feel this morning.

Got my Shockz stolen at yoga this morning.
It was at a brewery, I had finished my run earlier so I still had them with me.
Set them down when we finished with some of my other stuff and was helping move tables back into the space.

Bummed but I appreciated the honesty .
