Again with the 'brief bout'! This was not wording of family announcement. Does @churchtimes.bsky.social really think it's okay to use this language? Cancer kills people. No-one ever had a 'nasty bout' of cancer.

I certainly didn't hear or read the family using the words 'bout of cancer' in their official statement. I can't imagine, either, that many people would diminish the significance of a disease that kills in such a clumsy way. Disappointing if this is CT's new style.
