I remember the exact moment, early in my transition, working in Copenhagen, when I realized I was being perceived as a woman by my male coworkers. I realized it because they were interrupting and talking over me in meetings.
One after another, women reported being sexually harassed by male supervisors, getting paid less than their male peers, getting passed over for promotions, getting talked over in meetings.
