Feet were killing so stopped in for some Karaoke. £6 for two hours plus a free drink. These scores are either very generous or I'm a much better singer than I give myself credit for. Turns out I can remember all the lyrics to Ikenai Borderline and JIBUN WO by heart though.

Went to the tokyo metro office for observation floor. Saw a sign that said Miku is the new Tokyo and I approve. Some views of the urban sprawl. Seemed to go almost forever.

On a lighter note: watch our for a singular bee. Also I saw a pony park where they were giving small kids rides. Very cute.

More shrine. The main shrine, even. Packed with people. Sometimes I wonder how it feels turning what is basically a holy place into a tourist destination. I fed into it by going too. I can be respectful but ultimately still a gawker from afar. Not going to stop, but the thought does prey on me.

Went to Meiji Jingu. Eavesdropped a tour guide giving a *very* whitewashed summary of the Meiji Restoration. Appropriate for the spot, I guess. Very pretty place, even with flowers out of bloom.

Briefly stopped in at Japanime Art Gallery next to Harajuku station. I could have spent thousands here if I wanted too. Small place with OG art cels/sketches, artbook prints, unique posters, etc.

On my wander I saw this tennis shop called Setinn which is just an anagram of tennis. I guess its memorable for that alone.

Started my Shinjuku outing at Kunokuniya Book store. Even in Japan you can't escape gay hockey. English section was about half a floor of the eight it has. Had to snap Maomao when I could.

Got a little lost on my walk bsck to the hotel, and I stumbled on a live music show. Only caught a few songs. They seemed to shift between genres inside the songs in a way which never felt discordant, more like acts in a story/play. Was good shit.

This central room was amazing. One of the displays had kanji projections raining down, and when you touched them they turned into what the kanji was. I touched the sprout kanji for pic 9, and plants sprouted. How? No idea. Probably something both simple and yet also quite complex.

£26 for my ticket, stay as long as you like. Kinda recommended you do since a bunch of the displays are constantly changing. Managed to get myself lost. Twice.

Teamlab borderless was kinda insane. Projections and mirrors are the core of it but the program behind it all has to be really neat. Pictures will not do this justice at all. If you end up in Tokyo worth losing yourself here for an hour.
