I've spent the past like year and a half grinding techskill and playing CPUs and now I'm netplaying people for the first time and remembered I have to learn and think. the community has a shared vocabulary but absolutely not a shared understanding. I'm reading some guy's blog posts from 2017 that are unlocking ways of actually understanding the game and I now have to basically rewrite the near entirety of my autopilot and have to train myself to react to things.
