He doesn't remember these details, but in short - he's a twin, raised by his aunt after their mother's health declined during their birth. Resources - especially medicines - dwindled and he was sick frequently with ear infections. He's still hard of hearing on his right side.

For Killian/Thancred - even though he's miqo, the age gap is a little more at conflict over size. Killian is a little shorter, but not anything wild. Instead, there is an age gap, about 7-8 years physically and Thancred is also battling that extra 5 emotionally.
