That said, how the heck do you get him to open your tour in 2026 and not know he will do this?
Mackelmore in general is a bit of a try hard but he always stands on his principles.... For better or worse.

His music is pretty middle of the road, and not for me, but I know a lot of people who enjoy him. Usually people who are into things that fall in that safe space.... And he seems like a generally nice guy but Mackelmore is right that this doesn't work in this situation

I once asked a comic shop if they had some Rawhide Kid comics from the late 50's
The clerk told me how "a lot of older comics were destroyed during the war".... I was then curious when he thought WWII ended.... Florida education.

I got a free copy of the Charley Patton box set from work.
I gave it back because despite the work put into the presentation, people assumed I just wanted it for the money and not to admire the care and musical history.

I think it was talking to Grant Hart and he mentioned how he discussed Paradise Lost with Burroughs, and that had me thinking along the rock and roll lines
