Do I think Karmelo Anthony should have killed Austin Metcalf? No, I think it's a tragedy. But do I think Karmelo Anthony should be tried for it? Also no. Texas has a Stand Your Ground law and Karmelo stabbed only once after warning Austin not to touch him. It's a crummy situation but Texas chose it.

Former federal prosecutor Harry Litman: "But in fact, President Biden’s pardon was justified and falls within the heartland of executive clemency cases. A clear-eyed analysis of the facts, the law, and, crucially, DOJ standard practice in Hunter Biden’s case establishes this."
Night of the Hunter
You could almost hear the howls of protest begin on Capitol Hill the moment President Biden announced he was granting a pardon to his son, Hunter.

Hunter Biden’s TWO criminal cases were political prosecutions in order to attack President Joe Biden.

The DOJ pursued unprecedented charges after a high-pressure campaign by Trump and his surrogates.
