I hope so too, however looking into it further the gov's press releases were updated as Trump 8hrs ago, Zelenskyy 6 and Macron 4. Maybe the reports about congratulations were messages rather than the calls I thought they mentioned? If correct that is disappointing

They just want to fully break the NHS so US insurance companies can privatise it & profit from the sickness & misery of others

With all of this discussion about Greenland and the 'board of peace' in Gaza (on the Mediterranean), it seems timely to remind everyone of this:

Looks like a reincarnation of this which the movement was formed to stop. It got shelved before the GE as the Tories knew they would loose votes because of it in their old blue wall (they lost anyway).

None of the MSN news I have seen talked about the far more dramatic success of the LibDems, they won more seats today than the Tories & Labour & also beat the Tories on BBC's projected vote share, both 1st but did Laura K mention this? No & this guy's nonsense wasn't challenged!
May 2, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Watching BBC local elections COVERAGE, the Tory MPs on the panel have no basic manners and just talk over people whilst they are talking and are we supposed to take this guy seriously?

I agree, although sadly I think we already are the 51st state and Trump supported Brexit to accelerate their economic colonisation of us and to weaken the EU.

I can't help but feel the terrible loss of life was only ever about real estate, arms sale profits and access to gas for some, which is why many countries did not recognise it as a country 😢

I wonder if reform are pushing people to think they are better off leaving the ECHR & losing their HR to placate the likes of Musk, particularly in relation to article 16?
January 4, 2025 at 10:59 AM
When Nigel says we should leave the ECHR (which Winston Churchill was a key advocate for) which of these rights do his billionaire backers no longer wish for we British citizens to have in order to reach their agendas?

Good luck. Please could you ask:
1) how much of the NHS budget is used by private providers as profit
2) how much a procedure (eg hip replacement) costs private vs nhs
3) whether he has read this - www.thelancet.com/journals/lan... (treatable mortality 2013-23)
4) decreased rating = privatisation
