Title X has been dedicated to ensuring critical & affordable #ReproductiveHealth care in the US for more than 50 years.

Now, this vital program faces renewed threats by the Trump administration & larger anti‑abortion movement. Guttmacher experts examine the impact of these attacks ⬇️
"The [Trump] administration is putting a heavy hand on the scale by reshaping Title X around a pronatalist, patriarchal vision of family, rather than one that is dedicated to providing the full scope of evidence-based services that patients need to feel fulfilled in their reproductive lives."
The Dangerous Unraveling Of The United States’ Family Planning Safety Net | Health Affairs Forefront
Since taking office, the Trump administration has inflicted chaos on Title X, the only federal program that supports the provision of comprehensive reproductive health care to low-income people.

Perhaps the most appalling example of the evils of capitalism I could imagine
Today, MSF is going public with something we've been fighting behind closed doors for months: Gilead will not sell us their new HIV drug, lenacapavir.

The sticking point isn't even price, they just refuse to sell.

"Efforts to restrict mifepristone through junk science and false narratives threaten not only abortion access but the integrity of evidence-based policymaking."
On Jan 14, anti-abortion members of the US Senate will hold a hearing on the safety of #MedicationAbortion. In reality, it's a junk science-fueled attack on mifepristone.

The Senate HELP committee is holding a hearing this AM on the "dangers" of mifepristone. Mife has been safely & effectively used by millions since the FDA approved it in 2000, but we likely won't hear about that today.

Literally by definition "viability" limits ARE gestational limits, as in they limit your ability to get an abortion if you are past a certain gestational duration.
3. This map is wrong on multiple levels. Abortion is banned again in North Dakota as of last week; that state is the wrong color. Only 9 states lack a gestational limit and should be dark blue under this key. 41 states have bans

If you cannot get to Milwaukee for care, shield law providers can help you. If you need in-clinic care, Minnesota and Illinois have got you. I know this makes things so much worse, but I promise, we WILL help you exercise your options.
EXCLUSIVE: Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin will halt abortions in October in response to the GOP budget "defunding" provision

Everyone deserves access to abortion care in their communities via their preferred method, whether that is an in clinic procedure, via telemedicine, or abortion pills sourced form a community network. Any restrictions that limit people's choices are unjust. Full stop.

Mass deportations is a reproductive justice issue.

Bodily autonomy is impossible if you are afraid to leave your house, afraid to pick your kids up from school, afraid to see your doctor.
Escalating displays of force, under the guise of immigration enforcement in the US, are increasing barriers to essential health services—including reproductive & maternal health care. For over 12 million immigrant women of repro age in the US, access to care could be jeopardized.

“It’s not just the cost of travel itself or the cost of the procedure. It’s also the support of trying to figure out how to navigate a patchwork of laws, find a clinic with appt availability, get child care — most abortion patients have children — find accommodation.” @imaddowzimet.bsky.social
The latest findings from our Monthly Abortion Provision Study show that out-of-state travel for abortion remains critical, but can be challenging. As our expert @imaddowzimet.bsky.social told @washingtonpost.com, “It’s not just the cost of travel itself or the cost of the procedure.” gu.tt/4jbVF9d
