The reason the constitution isn’t being adhered to is at least partly the fault of the constitution — among other reasons, the super majority requirement for removing the president from office. The checks and balances in the constitution are not actually sufficient for checking the executive branch

Politically, it would be an apocalyptically dumb thing to say, but he is not a politicians and politicians shouldn’t be held to account for every politically suspect thing any of their supporters say.

Slowing down frontier LLM research while pushing more and more capabilities into claude code is very self serving for anthropic and doesn’t actually solve the really dangerous problems. Regulating agent harnesses is more tractable and more useful IMO.

Yeah i think people get confused between LLMs which are more or less completely harmless on their own, and agent harnesses, where people give LLMs the ability to use tools with minimal oversight. It’s the harness that are dangerous, but also the #1 driver of revenue right now.
