I think that the claim made by stoics that if not every, but the most of our troubles, anxiety and suffering is caused by our own persuasion is very much true.

The best learning is learning by doing. Sometimes you need to build up the basics, revise, structure or generalise the knowledge, but in my case it seems that for now I did it enough, and practice is more important.

It seems we’ve got nicer icons in new iOS. Subjective, but I hated that shimmer-flare they were adding last year. Using myself old versions still.

By the way, I tried to use some socials having in mind promotion of my work and seeking a job lately, but out of several I tried forcing myself, they are either dead or unpleasant to be in.

The highlights of today were that I went an unusual path, have seen a cat-in-the-woods and a big snail, there was a thunderstorm, and I saw grand rainbow out of the window.

I find “shorts feed limit” in youtube settings very useful. You can set it to 0 and get only long-format videos.

Pydantic makes work similar to whats codable and jsondecoders are doing in swift. Giving that swift being statically typed language does not need additional type validation.

Odd thing, python has optionals and generics now, which I was unaware of. They make sense with type hints which gain weight if used with type checking tools and libraries like pydantic.
