Ripping off seniors is a big industry these days.

That was a high point of PC software development.

And he knows that "Viking" is a *verb*!

I thought it was beautiful that that game brought a lot of the community together in Sarlat-la-Canéda.

Right. And also, heat pumps would probably be a much better choice. At least they are for SW Colorado USA.

Is your point "why upgrade, say, the CPU if all the other hardware has been damaged by radiation anyway"?
June 27, 2026 at 7:30 PM
Computers, even servers, have never had a particularly good upgrade story.

But if there are no upgrades, the lifespan is short, increasing the expense even more.

My mind boggles that "datacenters in space" are something anyone would risk money investing in.
June 27, 2026 at 7:17 PM
It puzzles me that anyone would think that data centers in space would make economic sense, considering the expense to launch, and the difficulty of performing upgrades.

And sophisticated investors are falling for this pipe dream?

Of that two dozen, how many were journalists?
February 8, 2026 at 9:58 PM
Probably? Are you not sure?

Do you see a path forward for our country, that doesn't involve former Trump voters? I don't.
February 7, 2026 at 7:36 PM
That is hilarious!

Although, come to thing of it, no more hilarious than the sort of software development job posts one sees these days.

I think that state attorneys general and district attorneys need to start writing up arrest warrants, and start publishing them. Now. Not at some murky future time.

For starters, were is the arrest warrant for Renee Good's killer? Is it not possible, at state level, to create arrest warrants?

Some men are discovered. Others are found out.

They must have a magic 8 ball with tropes like "this is what they voted for".
