At great taxpayer expense the following will be added to the AF1 hooptie: gold toilets, more "gold" everywhere, reverse spinners on the wheels, an escalator so somebody won't have to actually use steps...and all of the critical defensive stuff that was left out of the original refit project plan.

Starlink was great until about four months before its IPO...then its QOS (quality of service) between 2pm and 7pm fell off a cliff!!! Up until that time, it had been rock solid and was something I touted to EVERYONE. Neighbors with various generations of Starlink concur with the recent drop in QOS.
I replaced my rural 4G internet with Starlink, but speed tests missed the biggest difference
The Starlink Mini was faster, but stable latency made the real difference

During the last three months our service during the afternoon got to be so bad that we were forced to sign up for an alternative. Even worse, at the same time that Starlink's service was going into the toilet from 2pm-7pm PST they had the gall to raise our rates. They used to be reliable AF. Sigh.
