I've had two novels completed in the past two years but too scared to publish them. Afraid of...idk what. I even had author copies printed for a couple of people but I was too afraid. I need to stop letting fear control everything.

I'm back to doing translation work on Fiverr so I can spend more time with my kiddo and I'm barely making it, but I am a lot happier. Might as well get some of my own writing done while I'm here. I've had like three novels on the back burner and a Substack I've been meaning to monetize.

I left behind my crying child this morning, as I do to go to work every day. Rana’s three and she apparently venerates me.

One of my parents passed yesterday. All I can do is lay in bed with my son and watch TV and tweet (which I know I should not do) feeling manic but preparing for a very dark nosedive. God help me.

People always ask me what my process is when learning a language and it’s super easy: I finish the Duolingo course first which gives you plenty of speaking practice and the best start, then I translate novels to expand my vocabulary, and then lastly I keep a weekly journal in that language

I've been watching nothing but cartoons and listening to romance novels on audio with my son and I have to say it has exponentially improved my mood and outlook on life (I'm currently PMS'ing)
