I think the biggest problem in tons of anime these days isn't strictly the isekai format, plenty of generic not-DQ fantasy doing the same things; but the idea that the MC can never ever under any circumstances ACTUALLY lose, thus sucking all drama out of any situation. Hell, even Goku lost fights.

Like seriously, between Star Trek and Pokemon I'm not sure which world I'd want to be isekai'd into if given the choice. The later of which's biggest threats are just goofy idiots in costumes easily thwarted by the local 10 year old going on an afternoon hiking trip with their new pet.

Nah man, if I got isekai'd into Star Trek I'd beg them to let me stay in their post capitalist mostly utopia. Like sure the Borg and some other threats exist but generally speaking humanity isn't wanting for anything beyond making cool spaceships and exploring the cosmos because they can.

If you read the presentation (gamebiz.jp/news/433531) this has very little to do with "AI" - it's stuff like if there are 100 widgets onscreen you can draw them all by stamping them out rather than having 100 full instances, which is an optimization technique that's like 40 years old.
