I finally have a new job that is in the town we live in!! I was offered the position at a Petsmart warehouse last week and tomorrow is my first day! No more commuting!
It's also a 4/10 schedule with Fri-Sun off, and $4 more per hour than I've been making. It's such a relief mentally and financially

I spent almost the entire day today napping or feeling like my brain was mush because I was so worn out from work. It's well after 10pm, and I finally feel like I'm awake and can think clearly.

I completely forgotten about this song by Thousand Foot Krutch and stumbled across it today when listening to bands that I haven't for awhile. "When in Doubt" meant so much to me when I was 17, and it still hits me so hard emotionally.

I completely forgotten about this song by Thousand Foot Krutch and stumbled across it today when listening to bands that I haven't for awhile. "When in Doubt" meant so much to me when I was 17, and it still hits me so hard emotionally.

@serendipme.bsky.social and I are playing this solo RP game at the same time and sharing how our stories are going with each other. She brought up the idea and I loved it, and I love Deify already after going through the first phase. I have missed roleplaying so much and it's such a great outlet.

Everything is so exhausting. I'm starting to feel so overwhelmed/ burnt out lately, and struggling to find a way to escape it.
We've been unexpectedly busy and I haven't had much time to do anything spiritual, much less do the researching and learning I want to continue.

My eldest and I definitely feel this way from time to time. For me it usually manifests as wishing I could just sleep for days and not have to think about or handle anything. I do usually prioritize naps or just 'vegging out' with a show on during these times, and that does help some.

We moved here last Sept and I love that our house is only a couple of blocks from the park a lot of events are at, and near downtown but far enough away from the traffic

I'm working on making my own spell to do under the new moon on Monday. Planning it going well, I just need to start fine tuning it. I also made a sigil to go along with my intention for it, and which was like a meditation in it's own right and I'm happy with how it turned out.

I've finished reading two beginner witch books that are very good, "Make Your Own Magic" and "The Rebel Witch". They both have prompts for things to try and good explanations of different options. Now that I've read through them, it's time to pick what to research/try first and build from there.

Being short staffed at work is really starting to wear us all down. We have 6 people, it takes 10 to do everything effectively, and we should have 12-14 for a buffer
Since most of us are really good workers we're (unfortunately) scraping by most days. Which means management thinks it's fine.

Poly-husband bought me Subnautica 2, for us to play together. I haven't played the first one yet, but I like it a lot so far. This is probably the...4th? 5th? survival game he's wanted us to play together this year. He tends to lose interest in less than a month, so I never know how far we'll get

Work was rough this week and it wore me out. I am so glad it's Friday and I don't have to work tomorrow.
I was working 9hr days to make time for forklift driver training. Earlier hours will mean I can carpool with hubby, and that will save us money, as well as wear and tear on my car.

I'm going through some life changes and it's going to be reflected here soon. Name change incoming when I settle on exactly what I want it to be. It's going to reflect how I am diving into learning about witchcraft, and other things as I rebuild my faith after deconstructing it over the years.
My husband's mom passed away suddenly a week ago. Her health wasn't great, but how fast it happened to us all by surprise. It's been rough for everyone, and the cost of an unplanned trip to Michigan made it extra stressful. We're so glad that we were just up there for Mother's Day and saw her then.

Winter(17yr old) is so excited to have the new Tamadachi Life game, and has been playing it so much since Thursday. She had played the previous game through an emulator and loved it, so she was counting down the days for this.
