Where?? How?? Because the two major insurance companies in WA state say they only sell on the exchange but won’t sell to residents of Snohomish County. How do I get one of these “off-exchange” plans?????

I was in a car accident a year ago (that was not my fault) - offending driver didn’t have insurance. Just my surgery & 5 day hospital stay was almost $100,000. Then I had several after care appointments & months of physical therapy-all for something unforeseen. MY insurance had to cover it.

My plan has been eliminated. Options left are not accepted at our level 1 trauma center-one might think “oh but I will never have to go there”-except I found myself there after being extracted from my car that was t-boned last year. MY ins had to cover the $100k bill bc driver was uninsured.
