Gasoline prices were briefly sky-high under Biden, in the immediate aftermath of Putin's Ukraine invasion. Then they came down, well before his term ended. Gas is up +39.4% from a year ago. Diesel it at ALL TIME high prices, up +67.0% from a year ago.

Could be some good reasons the US Constitution doesn't authorize one person to take the country to war on a whim.
“The primary reason that diesel and other refined products aren’t making it out of the Middle East is that refineries across the region, in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and elsewhere, are down following missile strikes and other outages stemming from the war.”
The scramble is on for diesel, while damaged refineries and tight fuel supplies keep prices elevated around the world.
