Hi, I'm Evan. I write prompts for ChatGPT and Claude, test them on real tasks, and post here the ones worth keeping, with a note on where each one falls short.

The full library, 250+ prompts sorted by task, is free: gum.co/u/s3siqndw
250+ AI Prompt Vault | Updated Weekly
Most people get weak AI outputs for one simple reason: They need better prompts. Inside this vault, you’ll get access to a curated library of 250+...

The usual home repair mistake is buying parts for a guess about the cause. Show Claude a photo and get a diagnosis before you spend anything.

I dumped a week of scattered tasks into Claude and got back a tracker with owners and due dates. Any deadline I hadn't given it was a guess, so now I write mine in first.

I think most people search fares only on the dates they first picked. In my experience the cheaper ticket is a day or an airport away.

A prompt for anyone with an interview coming up: it runs a mock interview for that exact job, one question at a time, and scores each answer.

The recipes AI gave me were fine. What taught me to cook was describing a dish that tasted off and asking what it needed. Usually salt or acid.

I planned a month of posts with AI once and kept none of the hooks. The weekly themes were the useful part. Let it plan the structure and write the posts in your own voice.

Prompts for anyone fixing a phone photo for a profile or a listing. Start with the light, since every other fix sits on it. ChatGPT sometimes changes a face, so compare before you use it.

Finished a hard chapter and already forgot what it argued? Summarize it in layers first, then let Claude question you on it until the gaps show.

The common mistake with a used car is falling for it before reading a single document. Let the paperwork decide, from the listing to the contract.

I used to pay medical bills without reading past the total. Pasting the itemized one into Claude was the first time each line made sense to me.

The design is rarely what ruins a homemade flyer. It's the print step, usually a photo at screen resolution or text set too close to the trim. Have Claude check it before the shop does.

A role play for anyone traveling where Spanish is spoken. ChatGPT plays a waiter who only speaks Spanish and corrects you in English after each turn. Typing won't fix your accent, though.

Got one long video and no time to cut it into shorts? Paste the transcript and Claude marks the ten moments worth clipping, with timestamps and a hook for each.

The boxes were never the hard part of my last move. The address changes were. A month out, have AI list every account with your old address, then check them off.

My first coding month went better once I stopped asking ChatGPT for fixes and asked it for hints. It still guesses wrong sometimes, so run every change yourself.

Most small business sites get the colors right and the words wrong. I'd write the homepage copy before touching design, and Claude is good at a first draft of it.

A prompt for Sunday night, when your head is full of half tasks. You paste all of it in and Claude sorts it into a week with three priorities and a list of things to drop.

I once had AI compare two apartments on rent alone and it picked the one with the 70 minute commute. Give it your commute and your utilities first, then ask.

Got a guitar and stalled after the first few chords? These go together: clean chord changes first, then an easier version of a song you actually want to play.

Today I learned that the Appalachian Mountains are older than Saturn’s rings, trees, and the Atlantic ocean. These types of facts thrill me.

Most first brand kits start with the logo, and that's backwards. Settle how the brand talks and which colors it owns, then brief the logo. These run in that order.

I used to rebuild the same weekly report by hand every Monday. What changed it was pasting the raw export into Claude and asking for a clean table first. I still check the totals myself.

Most nervous speakers spend their prep time on slides. The opening line and the hard questions deserve that time instead.

For people learning a language who know the words but freeze when it's time to talk. A daily partner first, then a weekly look at the mistakes you keep making.

Want your living room to feel bigger without buying new furniture? Upload a photo with rough measurements and Claude gives you three layouts and what to take out.
