I'm wasting my life on animating a stupid short, that might never be completed, because I'm ludicrously slow at drawing. You can visit www.everdra.jimdo.net to find out more, but it's all in german so don't! I'm also on YouTube I guess @everdraanimation779
Thank you! After Romulus I feared that weird and interesting Alien movies were dead for good!

Every Sony UHD player I had refused to play certain 4K discs. Go with Panasonic, never had a problem with those.

To be fair, Alien Romulus should not be mentioned in any context.

One Battle after Another was pretty neat in a "not sure if movie or just looking out of the window in the year 2025" sorta way.

Awesome feature, because clearly I'm not on YouTube to listen to a human being, telling me about their perspective on things, I'm just here so that a can more efficiently consume KhAnTaHnT!

I'm so glad I'm still using my 2014 version. The times it crashed equals the exact amount of money that I have paid for it.

I'll be forever thankful to you for introducing me to anime. Without your old JO reviews I never would've given shows like Madoka or Utena a shot. Back then I was too narrow minded to watch this "pink girly stuff" but the way you talked about it, treated it like art, made me reconsider my prejudice.

Thanks for ruining my life with this recommendation. Void Stranger had now completely consumed me.

And even if some shots were slightly out of focus, so what? That was the way the movie was made. They had certain limitations with the equipment they used back in the day and that's part of the movies' history. Just accept it. Don't try to make it look like a modern anime, it isn't!

I think they should have gone with a mostly hands off approach here. Now everything just looks way too soft. Grain is not a bug with this movie, it's a feature. Don't get me wrong, it's far from unwatchable, but why even make a 4K remaster if you are going to scrub away most of the detail anyway?
