If they are doing this, and I'm sure they are. That is the definition of a war crime. Now if anything comes of this (I doubt it even could short term) I'd be surprised. Our country has a long history of committing war crimes and getting away with it.
So the US is apparently attacking water treatment and distribution systems in Iran.

If they are doing this, and I'm sure they are. That is the definition of a war crime. Now if anything comes of this (I doubt it even could short term) I'd be surprised. Our country has a long history of committing war crimes and getting away with it.

Real idea: As part of the effort to get DC and PR statehood, next Dem president should invent about State Weeks. Each of the 52 states gets its own celebration week every year. Not just Maine. This is the rot at the center of the progressive political and nonprofit sectors. I started an entire organization to try to shift the dynamic towards reporting and early intervention before someone accrues so much power that “taking them down” feels like betraying your values.
this dynamic described by jenny racicot is, as i understand it, very common among progressive women in maine. they’ve been put in an impossible position and feel like they’re tanking platner’s campaign when in reality he did that on his own by being a violent and reckless person.

Hauling in oil and natural gas is expensive, risky, and a major reason their cost of living is so high.
A University of Hawaiʻi report says that building more solar farms with battery storage is the most cost-effective way to power Oʻahu, rather than building new power plants. The electricity company doesn’t agree. Lol.
